Exercise is an act of intelligence: the ability to process information and use it in fitness performance: how to move the body gracefully, efficiently and safely in different environment and activities, based on education, knowledge and experience. It activates and interacts with emotional and analytical intelligence during health and fitness activities . The individual becomes capable of absorbing and incorporating increasingly complex activities, harmonizing six essential qualities for everyday life and sport: balance, coordination, flexibility, endurance, speed and strength. To achieve fitness intelligence, one follows a program of exercises reflecting a logical progression from simple to complex. Emphasis is on change and variation, so exercises are done in different starting positions (horizontal, vertical, side, etc.) and in different modalities (e.g. in the water, on land), as well as with different speed (slow, medium, fast). The variety of movement patterns and attention to full range of motion provide a constant challenge. Activities are never boring or repetitive, and they continue to challenge the body and the mind, while providing an energizing, life-enhancing exercise experience
